If Dogs Could Vote: Obama vs .McCain!

The enthusiasm of the 2008 Presidential campaign is spreading throughout the nation. From the millions of Americans who watched the Democratic National Convention this past week to the millions who will be watching the Republican National Convention next week, this is one Presidential race that will go down in history - no matter who wins the election in November.

At Ruff Ruff and Meow, we've taken a less scientific approach of monitoring the campaign performance, but we've decided it's important to give our furry friends a voice in voting for the next President. From small dogs to big dogs to cats of all sizes, Ruff Ruff and Meow fans have raised their paws and want you to hear loud and clear who they support. Will it be Obama or McCain?

According to our estimates (as tallied by votes for Obama dog t-shirts, dog tank tops and dog bandanas vs. McCain dog t-shirts, dog tank tops and dog bandanas), Barack Obama is beating John McCain three to one.

Quite outstanding since according to reports, Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, don't even own a dog! However, his opponent, John McCain and his wife, Cindy, reportedly have about 24 dogs of all different breeds.
